Solutions, Please
It’s not hard to find people who can point out wrongs, who can complain about one thing or another.
And that’s necessary…how to we know to stand up to, or for, something unless it’s pointed out?
But once we get that message comes the hard part…doing something about it.
I was reminded of this while filling in for our friend Todd Starnes on his national radio program yesterday. We’ve pointed out the hypocrisy of the left, and much of the right, for that matter. It’s frankly not hard to find, and that in and of itself is disturbing.
But what we need now is solutions to be suggested, and action to be taken. Not storming a building, mind you. Instead, how about letting people know how you feel? Yes, members of the legislature, school board, Congress…but also your neighbors and friends.
Don’t take for granted that your representative will do the right thing, or vote on an issue the way you want. Let them know. That’s action, that’s working toward a solution.
It’s a step, the first step…not a small one, either. You’re afraid you’re going to get on a mailing list for donations. I get that. But this is no time to be silent…so long as we still have a voice, better use it.
