ST. LOUIS – UNI Women’s Basketball hosts Illinois State Jan. 1 and Jan. 2, in a pair of home games at the McLeod Center in Cedar Falls. Both games are scheduled for 2 p.m. CT.

The Panthers were originally scheduled to play Missouri State this weekend, but positive test results within MSU’s Tier I personnel has forced the postponement of the UNI-MSU series.  ISU and UNI were originally scheduled to face one another on Jan. 15-16 in Cedar Falls.

The Missouri Valley Conference has postponed the Illinois State-Valparaiso women’s basketball series (Jan. 1-2) due to positive COVID-19 test results among Valparaiso’s Tier I personnel, which consists of student-athletes, coaches, managers and staff.   The Conference will announce make-up dates for the series/games at a later date.

MVC athletically-related activities will take place only to the extent permitted by local environments and applicable national, state, local and institutional guidelines in order to safeguard the health and safety of participants, staff and fans.  Schedule updates throughout the season will be posted on mvc-sports.com.

Friday’s game can be heard live exclusively on News/Talk 1540 KXEL with pregame at 1:45 p.m. Saturday’s game can be heard via webstream at unipanthers.com due to a men’s BB game on KXEL.

Season ticket holders will receive their digital tickets on Dec. 30. A very limited number of single-game tickets will be available in pods of two, four, or six on the day of the game. Student tickets (125) will be available at the door in a first-come-first-served basis.
