Cedar Valley Pair Arrested After Early-AM Chase

A 20-year old Cedar Falls man and a 19-year old Waterloo woman were arrested early this(Tues) morning after a chase involving a stolen truck.

A Black Hawk County Sheriff's deputy tried to make a traffic stop around 1:45 near Hudson and Erik Roads, but the driver refused to pull over and led authorities on a 20-minute chase that reached speeds of 100 miles per hour.

The pursuit ended in a field in Grundy County and police learned the pickup had been taken from an address near Cedar Falls five days ago.

The driver, Jesse Hall of Cedar Falls, has been charged with a "laundry list," of offenses, including Eluding, Possession of Stolen Property, Carrying Weapons, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia, Driving with a Revoked License, two counts of Driving with a Suspended License, and multiple traffic violations.

His passenger, Chloe Adams, was charged with Interfering with Official Acts.
