0 0

The City of Waterloo has received some new…and lower…bids for the repair work on the 4th Street Bridge pedestrian canopy, and the City Council will hold a public hearing on the project today(Mon) at 5:30.

The low bid for the work came from Minturn, Incorporated of Brooklyn, whose $1.4-million offer covers repainting the steel canopy, spot repairs to the concrete railings, and some additional safety work.

The Waterloo Council will also hold a 4:10 work session today(Mon) on a number of proposed changes to the City’s zoning ordinance.
