WWII vet receives medals

A World War II veteran received a number of medals that he earned, while serving his country.

Ninety-one-year-old Al Feavel was surprised by family yesterday, during a ceremony at Oakridge Care Center in the town of Menasha.

Feavel's niece, Cindy Spitza worked with the military to replace some awards, after Feavel lost his hat while boating last year. She says they also learned that he never received others that he deserved.

The medals include the Legion of Honor Award from France. It's that country's equivalent of the Medal of Honor.
