Two charged in Waterloo apartment fire

Two Waterloo men are charged in connection with a meth lab fire at an apartment building in May.

Waterloo police say 51-year-old Andy Archambault is charged with making meth and intent to make meth.  He was burned when his apartment caught fire in May.

Police have charged 51-year-old Patrick Riley with conspiracy to make meth.  Police say he bought items used in the meth lab and was at the apartment that day.

The fire broke out in the apartment in the 200 block of Brookeridge Road on May 20th.  Firefighters contained the flames to one room.

Investigators say they found a one-pot methamphetamine lab where the fire started.
