Iowa vehicular homicide trial moved to October

The trial of a 23-year-old Osage man charged with vehicular homicide in northern Iowa has been postponed.

Tylor Patrick was set to stand trial on Aug. 20, but his trial is now set to begin Oct. 29.

Patrick has pleaded not guilty.

Prosecutors say Patrick was driving on Hickory Avenue north of Iowa Highway 9 on Sept. 20 when he lost control of the vehicle.  It rolled several times.  The Iowa State Patrol says a passenger, 22-year-old Jesse Wilson of Charles City, was killed.
