Groups connecting homeless with resources

The Emergency Shelter of the Fox Valley and the Fox Cities Housing Coalition helped homeless people get some needed resources today.

Chris Lashock is with the Emergency Shelter. He says 70 volunteers searched for people sleeping outside last night...and they were invited to a resource picnic today at Riverview Gardens Community Center in Appleton.  He says they could sign up for a dentist appointment and a variety of other services.

Laschock says they found 12 people living on the streets overnight. That's the same as last summer.
