Ribble getting ideas on transportation funding

State and local officials got a chance to talk about highway funding in Green Bay today.

Congressman Reid Ribble hosted a forum on transportation.

The Sherwood Republican says they haven't increased the gas tax since 1993, and it's not generating as much revenue for federal projects. He says cars are more fuel-efficient, and more younger people want to live in urban areas, where they don't have to drive as much, if at all.

Ribble says maybe they need to look for other revenue sources, beyond the gas tax.
