Seizure drug not available yet

An early supporter of a law that legalizes a marijuana by-product to treat seizures says he understood there would be a delay in its availability.

Family members are raising concerns that the law requires a series of drug trials, and FDA approval, first.

Democratic Rep. Gordon Hintz of Oshkosh says lawmakers knew that the medicine wouldn't be available until fall or winter.

Children who have frequent seizures are able to access the treatment in other states.
