Walker's lead similar in latest MU poll

Governor Walker slightly increased his lead over Democratic challenger Mary Burke, in a poll released yesterday by the Marquette University law school.

Poll administrator Charles Franklin says Walker leads Burke, 48 percent to 41 percent. The January poll had Walker ahead, 47 percent to 41 percent.

Franklin says people are still getting to know Burke, but their minds are made up about Walker. He says despite his gain in the poll, Walker's approval rating slipped a little, from 51 percent to 47 percent.
