Company expanding to Kaukauna

A company from southern Wisconsin is expanding in Kaukauna, and a new economic development group helped bring it to the area.

Larry Burkhardt of the Fox Cities Regional Partnership says they worked with officials from Kaukauna to convince PolyFlex to build a 59,000 square foot manufacturing facility. He says the company was very impressed with the area, and the workforce.

It's the first time that the Fox Cities Regional Partnership was able to attract a company to the area.

PolyFlex is a blow molding company that makes plastic parts like garbage can lids and wheels. The company plans to hire 40 employees when it opens the facility later this year, in Kaukauna's industrial park.
