Polk Co. investigating fatal hit-and-run

Sheriff's deputies in northwest Wisconsin are searching for a hit-and-run driver accused of killing two people.

Chief Deputy Steve Moe of Polk County says two men were fighting, in a home, and they moved outside, and eventually into the road. He says the driver was in a dark-colored pickup truck, and he stopped, after the crash.

The accident victims are 28-year-old Benjamin Juarez of the Luck area, and 41-year-old Richard Cobenais of Frederic.

Moe says the truck could be a Ford F-150, and it had an auxiliary light on the roof. He says the headlight area, on the passenger side, could be damaged.
