Event Date: March, 01 2014

Event Times: 8:00 pm

Timeflies — the chart-topping musical duo of Rob Resnick and Cal Shapiro — is coming to Wartburg College Saturday, March 1.

Timeflies, which incorporates elements of pop, electro, dubstep and rock, will perform at 8 p.m. in Neumann Auditorium.  Following ticket sales to Wartburg students, a limited number of tickets will be available to the public beginning Tuesday, Jan. 28, for $20 at the information desk in Saemann Student Center, weekdays from noon-4 p.m., or by calling 319-352-8691 [Call: 319-352-8691] .

Timeflies’ debut album, “The Scotch Tape,” reached No. 2 on the iTunes pop chart upon release in September 2011. Its first all-original album, “One Night,” debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes overall charts in November 2012.  They recently performed at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The duo, which formed in 2010 while students at Tufts University in Boston, initially was known for Timeflies
Tuesday — a weekly series of releases featuring remixes, live covers and freestyling over original beats.

The concert is sponsored by the Wartburg student organization Entertainment ToKnight (ETK).
