Event Date: October, 26 2013

Event Times: 9:00 am

Pathways' 10th Annual 5k "Run, Walk, and Roll for a Drug-free Community" will be held on Saturday October 26th, at 9 a.m.  Registration begins at 8:15, race starts promptly at 9.

The Run, Walk and Roll for a Drug Free Community has been going on for 10 years.  In that time, Pathways Behavioral Services, with the help of their community partners, has provided services to thousands of people seeking out help for substance abuse problems.  Their prevention team has worked with thousands of students, parents, and community members to help prevent substance abuse.  The 5K is scheduled during the National Red Ribbon Campaign.

Several businesses are sponsors for Pathways’ event, including Allen Hospital and Networking Solutions.  Proceeds from the race go to support substance abuse prevention and treatment services in the Cedar Valley.

Pathways walk/run costs $20 for adults and $15 for students.  Race registration forms can be picked up at Pathways or go online to download a registration form.  If you have any questions or would like more information contact Vicki Mueller at (319) 235-6571.
The race will begin and end at Pathways Behavioral Services, 3362 University Avenue in Waterloo.
