Man Accused of Kidnapping CF Babysitter is Undocumented El Salvadoran

An El Salvadoran national has been arrested and charged with kidnapping,  after police say he snatched a teenage girl from a Cedar Falls yard,  dragged her into a house and tried to sexually assault her. Gov. Asks IA Lawmakers for $25-Million for Immediate Flood Repairs

Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds is asking state lawmakers for $15 million from the ending balance of the current year’s budget for immediate work on levees and repairs in flooded communities. Accused Waterloo Car Burglar Now Facing 31 Counts

A 19-year old Waterloo man charged last week with four car burglaries has now been formally accused of 27 more. Christopher Barbour (of 3158 Franklin Street) was re-arrested Friday and charged with 27 counts of burglary to a motor vehicle, pre-trial revocation, second degree criminal mischief, and 5th degree criminal mischief.
