WBB: Donaldson Moves to Raptors’ Bench

She wrapped up her college basketball career and went into the working world as a data analyst for a company in Cedar Falls.

Four years later, Brittni Donaldson is an NBA assistant coach.

Donaldson has been hired by the Toronto Raptors. Over the summer, the former University of Northern Iowa Panther guard also coached the Raptors’ entry in the NBA Summer League.

She becomes just the 10th female assistant in the history of the NBA.

As a Panther, Donaldson made 114 NCAA appearances from 2011 to 2015. During a 2014 game against the Drake Bulldogs, Donaldson set a career high with 34 points and claimed a UNI record by knocking down eight three pointers.

The former Sioux City North prep star graduated from UNI with a degree in Statistics and Actuarial Science.
