UNI Poli-Sci Professor Cites “Trump Factor” in Record Iowa Voter Turnout

A University of Northern Iowa political science professor thinks there may be a logical explanation for the record Iowa voter turnout for the mid-term elections.   Chris Larimer says it’s the “Trump Factor”.

As a university professor, Larimer has contact with young people on a daily basis, and he wants to know if that age group was motivated, more-than-usual, to vote this time.  He says he’s doing some research on the subject now and should know in a few weeks.

By the way, you can hear Dr. Larimer’s thoughts on the mid-term elections during the HomeOfThePanthers.com pre-game show, around 9:15 this Saturday morning, before the UNI football game from Youngstown State.
