Waterloo Council Puts Rules of Procedure on Hold

The Waterloo City Council talked some more yesterday(Mon), during a work session, about establishing rules of procedure for its meetings, an effort to streamline the decision-making process by adding order and increasing civility among council members and others.

But in the end, the council decided to hold additional work sessions on the matter and to not make a final decision until December or January, by which time a new 5th Ward member will be elected and sworn in.

Council member Margaret Klein echoed member Jerome Amos and City Clerk Kelly Felchle, in wanting to proceed slowly.
