Waterloo School Board to Vote on Supt’s Contract Tonight

The Waterloo School Board will be asked to renew Supt. Jane Lindaman’s contract for three years tonight(Mon).   Members will also set her salary for the next year, based on a set of performance evaluations.  Dr. Lindaman, who has been superintendent since 2014, is currently paid $202,000 a year, with her total compensation package valued at just over $224,000.

In other business, the board will consider an increase in substitute teacher pay to $130-a-day for short-term assignments and to $150-per-day for long-term substitutions.

The Cedar Falls School Board (also) meets tonight(Mon) and is expected to appoint one of its members as a representative to a Central Rivers Area Education Agency special election later this month.
